When most people think of a gym, they think about a place where you go, work out on your own, or maybe talk with someone on the treadmill next to you. Agate Pass Fitness boasts a gym full of sweating, smiling athletes that cheer each other on every day, from start to finish. It’s not uncommon to see people finish a work out, then go back to do more reps with someone else while they finish theirs. At Agate Pass Fitness, community is everything.
We have an incredibly diverse group of athletes, so you won’t feel like you don’t fit in, because EVERYONE fits in!
The community is an integral part of helping you reach your goals. We work hard together, we push each other, we celebrate each other’s victories, and we lift each other up when needed.
How many times have you set a New Year’s resolution, and not kept it? Maybe you set a weight loss goal that you never met. At Agate Pass Fitness we are very focused on helping you reach your goals, by setting smaller, attainable goals that will lead you down the pathway to success, and surrounding you with a community of athletes to hold you accountable.
Our athletes vary in their fitness and health focus, so we have coaches that specialize in different areas to help you get where you want to be. We can help you improve your mobility, strength, cardiovascular endurance, muscle endurance, flexibility, and nutrition.
Our coaches have the training and experience to find your weaknesses, and help you improve, as well as making sure you are always improving on your strengths. Most of our members don’t realize how strong or capable they are until they are guided and inspired to try new things. We consistently hear members “I can’t believe I just did that, I would have never done that on my own”. You may have never performed a specific movement, or never lifted a certain weight, but at Agate Pass we believe that with goal-focused athletes and coaches, “never” should be re-termed “not yet”!
Guiding our members in reaching their health and fitness goals also includes injury prevention. At Agate Pass, safety is paramount. We encourage our athletes to focus on form, and to know the importance of maintaining proper form before increasing weight. We want to guide you in building your endorphin rush, creating the building blocks of form, mobility, and strength that will guide you in doing all your athletic and every day activities safely.
We are dedicated to ensuring member safety as related to COVID-19. Our precautions go beyond the Washington State requirements for cleaning/disinfection, class size, social distancing, and temperature checks. All our classes are being run with both large bay doors open and many classes have the option to work out our doors. All coaches are monitoring each athlete to ensure safety precautions are being met every class. We understand the importance to provide a safe and secure environment to work out.
